Mark Halperin Calls Obama a Dick

(EDITORIAL NOTE) Time Magazine's Mark Halperin calls President Obama a dick, but then apologizes under the chaperone of Willie Geist's disapproving glare.

Editors Note: When a senior editor at 'Time Magazine' describes the sitting President of the United States using profanity, mustn't we wonder just how far we have come from Edward R. Murrow in speech a speech to the Radio and Television News Directors Association (RTNDA) convention in Chicago (15 October 1958), Edward R. Murrow saying: “It is my desire, if not my duty, to try to talk to you journeymen with some candor about what is happening to radio and television..."; mustn't we wonder if we have abandoned decorum and courtesy to favor our own opinion without just consideration of the responsibility of the Presidents office, never mind the common courtesy one might allow for the possibility that a single person, in a world of complex decision-making and balancing, that relies on large scale intelligence gathering from multiple administrative departments within our government, just a tad bit arrogant.
